The world’s population is around 8 billion, but every single person is a unique individual. No two people are ALIKE!
Dr. Howard Earl Gardner is an American developmental psychologist and the ‘Hobbs’ Professor of Cognition and Education at Harvard Graduate School of Education at Harvard University, USA. in 1983, he established the concept of multiple intelligences, which says,
There are eight multiple intelligences, and there are 3 or 4 skills associated with each intelligence.
Every human being has a minimum of 3 such intelligences and upto 12 associated skills.
According to Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences, humans have several different ways of processing information and these ways are relatively independent of one another. He has written hundreds of research articles and thirty books that have been translated into more than thirty languages.

These are the eight types of intelligences in humans, and out of approximately 24-26 skills, 3-4 are associated with each intelligence. Every individual has a minimum of 3 intelligences and related 10-12 skills.
One can therefore identify one’s inherent strengths or ‘Strength Zone’. Success is easier to achieve if one works in one’s Strength Zone!
While evaluation of these intelligences is possible at any age, it is most helpful at the age of 15-16 years, when children have developed a foundation of their personality, and reached a level of maturity to get assessed, giving meaningful results, as well as the ability to learn to overcome any challenges.
After the age of 23, the time zone to make corrective changes gets challenging. Which only means that it takes longer to inculcate the changes.
